Dr. Professor

If you enjoyed the PC version odds are good youll enjoy this. Be warned, however, some temples are missing (all level 3 and ferverus and daurous.)

Frat game on both iPad and iPhone

Love playing this on my iPad mini.... Great time killer

Thank you!

I did love this game on the PC and now just as much with the iPad. If you never played the original you may or may not like this.... Me... I love it.

Another Majesty

I have the game on the PC and I still play it every now and then. When I got the iPad for my birthday, this was one of the first games that I bought with no hesitation. Hard to put down and the last game I played, I actually saw the sun set and come back up. Awesome!

Amazing

Its a simply amazing game

Has issues, great game

Pros: - Great game. Strategic but silly, demanding but clever. - Plenty of ways to play. Different routes cut off other ways to play that actually make sense - Different endings. Most of the scenarios have different ways to end it depending on what you want to do - Graphic are simple but nice. More true to the original than jaw dropping. Cons - Please work on the AI and user interface. Some of the below just unpack this. - Spellcasting is not intuitive. More than once Ive cursed one of my heroes or healed a monster. Some scenarios you want to give a troll a skeleton buddy, but mostly not. - Again, the AI! Heroes often wander off to get killed and I cannot keep wizards or necromancers alive. Meanwhile, dark knights and paladins never die, which I guess I dont mind. - Add some metrics, like how much gold does a house generate over a game day?

Almost

Very similar to the old computer version, but the hero AI is awful. Any hero that isnt a warrior/paladin has a death wish. The warriors and paladins are practically invulnerable. Wizards will walk right up to a rat and die, rangers wont retreat from a pack of goblins, necromancers will charge spiders. It makes the game extremely tedious when only a small subset of the available heroes are useable.

Derogatory Hero Name

The game is fun and lives up to the majesty franchise. I was very excited to play it until I saw my first elf hero named "Queer." How can any company find this acceptable? I dont wish to support any franchise who belittles any group, race, or religion. I wish I could get my money back. What a shame...

So glad this exists

If you were a fan of the original PC majesty, you will love this game. Its just as fun as that version, maybe more! My only suggestion is to make it easier to place buildings more precisely.

Has so much potential

Could be awesome. Poorly balanced. All characters die to often besides the basic fighter.

Love it

I love this game. So happy I can play now on my iPad! Great replay options with the different difficulty levels.

Majesty

Is an awesome game and it translates well to iPad definitely worth the money

just like the computer version, just as awesome!

Great game play and a lot of fun... Although, I do miss all the things the heros would say when in certain situations. "Adversity builds character"

JERKS!

Next time you charge .99 for 50,000 gold have it follow the player until it runs out.... Instead of making them pay for each level!

Paid for the app. It worked fine for awhile and now force closes when I try to play.

Balance issues kill it

This game is almost a good port of the awesome PC game but its balanced horribly and this kills it for me. Forces you to buy IAP to play on hard mode, otherwise impossible to win, and the normal difficulty is so easy you lose the game about as much as you would in FarmVille. Also the hero balance is way off. As a poster noted below, the only heroes worth using are warriors or paladins, everything else just dies due to awful hero AI. Also no reason to use elves over dwarves, as elves just die and their gold boost is irrelevant since dwarves just make your city invincible anyway (if you can live long enough to build the towers which you cant on hard). Too bad, it was almost a great iPhone strategy game which there isnt a lot of.

Like the Mix up

I like how the Heros act like an RPG player and I like how this game is a strategy. I like the mix up with rpg and rts games. Pretty creative.

Universal really?

Some developers should learn the meaning of Universal app. Yes, technically its universal as: it will run on your iPhone. In reality: its absolutely unplayable... Unless youre willing to carry a microscope with you all the time... The texts are so small that its simply unreadable. Even the icons are difficult to recognize. Bottom line: on iPad, looks fun, on iPhone: PASS!!!

Disappointing.....

I loved Majesty as a kid and was excited to play it again. Unfortunately, this game is only a shell of what the original was/is. I have no idea why the developers decided to water down the game as much as they did, especially since the iPad can clearly handle much more. Plus, the "replenish your treasury for .99 cents" is pathetic money grabbing at its finest. Shame....

Ow my eyes

On an iPad with Retina display the in game text and buttons are so ridiculously tiny, and there isnt an option to lower resolution in order to fix this. If you have one of these devices I really wouldnt bother with this game unless they fix it.
