massive nostalgia value. so glad they kept the original soundtrack. seems great so far!

Tiny UI makes it hard to enjoy.

I used to play this on my blackberry tablet and finally got around to getting it on my iPhone and it is just as fun as I remember it!

Majesty is like an RTS mixed with an art farm. Just like a real king, you dont have direct control over the heroes who fight for you. You control building and recruiting and can strongly encourage heroes to attack targets by placing bounties (and can later cast spells) but otherwise theres no micro-ing here. Although modern iOS devices are powerful enough for a straight port of the original Majesty PC game, this old version is simplified and dumbed down - guilds dont have abilities, there are no worker units, and theres no speech which robs this of MUCH of the original versions charm. (Thats right, the Sean Connery-sounding narrator is MIA). On the bright side, the art is arguably better than the original games.

I played the PC game way back when and enjoyed it immensely. This is a faithful rendition. It has been slightly scaled down from the PC version. For example, the characters no longer say stuff when out and about. In fact, there is no voice acting in this game. This is a shame because the voice acting added so much character to the PC version. The touch screen controls are pretty good. But there are times when the controls arent as precise as i wish they were. Overall, a great game with a great price--free!

Unit AI needs major improvement, and most of the ranged units are useless as they die too easy.

Download it!! Music is awesome, graphics are clear and nice, animation is fine, playability is wonderfull! I was a big fan of PC version. The iOs isnt worse even a bit. Tested the game both on iPod4 and iPad1. Polacy: GRAĆ! Gra wyszła mega cudnie!

Best RTS!

Spent at least 8 hrs in this game and really glad with that. I strongly recommend to those who loved Majesty on PC. The only drawback is that iOs version has less variations in monsters/units and guilds

The game is great and funny. The user interface should be tweaked, though. Ive found it almost impossible to play on the iPhone retina display: the buttons were too small and some texts too tiny to read. On the iPad it is much better, although some commands are still too small or not well arranged: Why is there so much empty space around very small buttons (eg bar on the left)? I really liked the gameplay, although Ive never played the original game for PC. However, Ive noticed that when there are too many characters fighting one next to each other it is very hard to select a hero (even the pop-up bar on the right becomes irresponsive - doesnt react to double taps).

Very impresive, i like it till year 2005 and now find the game for my ipad. Very nice, no lagging, no bugs.

Fun app that you dont have to pay as you go.

Great adaptation of the PC version, but I do miss the voices of all the characters.

First of all I thank you for porting this game to iOS seriously it makes my day. I would however love to have the voice of the advisor back and the limit on heroes makes me sad.

I absolutely loved this game! So much that I bought the pc version but Id didnt quite live up to my love for the phone version. I still play it over and over, from new phone to new phone. But it hasnt been updated for so long that its hard to play on the iPhone 6. Id love for a new game but I could settle for just a new update!

I played Majesty when it first came out years ago, I loved it. Majesty 2 came out and it was decent but it lost the majesty feel. This app is much more like Majesty. I love the graphics and the interface is easy to use. I just wish there was multiplayer.

Perfect game for the iPhone; this is a complete in depth game that is polished and works very well... Because its all based on a bounty system and in-direct control of the units, theres no need to micromanage and command all the small people, which would be a pain on a touchscreen. The combination works perfectly here, and with all the gameplay of a big budget game. Well worth the price! -Major Gamer
